English: Louisiana, 1848. License to keep a grocery store in the Town of Carrollton (at the time not yet absorbed into the City of New Orleans). Gives Mr. J[ohn ?] Hinderlang permission for the calendar year to run a grocery store, with various provisios regarding sale of alcohol and buying and selling to slaves.
