Summary[edit]

Description R.E.P. 1 of 1906 preserved at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris. The Esnault-Pelterie R.E.P. 1 is an experimental aircraft built and flown in France in the early twentieth century by Robert Esnault-Pelterie. This aircraft is historically significant because it was the first to employ a joystick as its main flight control.
