Midseason Varieties CRAWFORD'S EARLY. Yellow, freestone, large size, juicy, sweet flavored, high- ly prized for canning. Tree strong grower and prolific bearer. One of the old-time commercial varieties, which hos been extensively planted in years past, but now mainly a home market fruit. SLAPPEY. Yellow, freestone, medium to large size, beautifully red colored, rich and extra good flavor. Good commercial variety for nearby mar- kets and one of the best early yellow freestone Peaches. VETERAN. Fruit is large, round, yellow flesh, freestone and superior to the well known Elberta in flavor. Ripens about ten days ecrlier than Elberta. EARLY HILEY A NEW STRAIN of Hiley from the South; ripens a few days earlier and is slight- ly larger. Our strain is from a prominent Georgia or- chordist. Hiley growers — try a few trees of this new strain; it may be what you have been looking for. We offer June Bud Trees only. SOUTH HAVEN Souih Haven deeft. if.eUo4AJL, ned okeeh Large, handsome, yellow, freestone Peaches of uniform size, delicate in fla- vor. Ripens about 15 to 18 days ahead of Elberta. Trees ore very hardy and pro- ductive. Adapted to cold climates and produce bumper crops in mild climates. A new variety we highly recommend.
