| Description |
Ford pickup trucks were fitted with a new cab, new front-end sheetmetal, and a new bed for 1938, while 1 1/2-ton versions got a new chassis as well. They got bulbous front and rear fenders and unique to the 1938-39 model, the oval, barrel shaped grille. With the 39 grille, it lost the crank hole at the bottom and the V8 badge at the top, that the 38 had. Engines; 1938; 221 Flathead V8 and in 1939; 239 Flathead V8 |
