| Description |
The Land Rover Series I, II, and III (commonly referred to as series Land Rovers, to distinguish them from later models) are off-road vehicles produced by the British manufacturer Land Rover that were inspired by the US-built Willys Jeep. The Series I was built from 1948-57. In 1950, the lights moved from a position behind the grille to protruding through the grille 1954; Wheelbase was increased by 6 in, Pickup available 1956; 5 door station wagon introduced with Safari roof. 1957; Diesel engine available Engines: 1600, 2000 Petrols and 2000 Diesel. |
