Description

I believe these are now rare in Europe. This is a Datsun 1300, also known as a Datsun 510 or a Bluebird. This was such a beautiful looking car, I really was very pleased to find it on my last full day in Greece. It looked a little rough around the edges, but was so good to see. Perhaps one of my best finds of the trip.

I was amazed to see this one had the 1963-71 number plates. This was the only car I saw in my two and a half months in Greece which had these. They follow a very simple pattern of just six numbers, no letters. This reflects how few cars were around in those days! I thought this style was extinct, but was very pleased with this one.

It looked so nice and original, these sold well in Oceania, Japan and the US, but were never common in Europe.
