Description

An extensive facelift on the XT; The Managing Director wanted the XW to be a more aggressive, macho car. Every exterior panel was restyled, except for the doors. The bold looking front featured a grille which sat between the headlights, the tail lights were now square shaped and it got a new square dash. Ford made 5 of these Suferoo Utilitys, a Ford styling exercise, all were Surfer Orange and black interior. They featured vinyl roof, the GS Package and a large aerofoil at the rear, with a removable tonneau between the roof and the aerofoil, so surfers could sleep in the back.
