Description

Butterscotch. Dodges E body Muscle Car, 1st generation built from 1970-74. (same platform as the Plymouth Barracuda, the Dodge was 2 in longer) 1971 saw a new split grille and rear panel. The R/T, still with the power bulge hood and optional shaker hood, now had dummy air duct scoops in front of the rear wheel arches and new side stripes. Models; Challenger 6 (225 6 cyl), Challenger V8 (standard 318), and RT (standard 335hp 383, option 390hp 440 6 pack and 425hp Hemi 426).

Base engine on the RT in 1971 was the 340, this car has the optional N code 383 Magnum V8
