Description

With the VH Valiant, a more powerful 265 cu in hemi 6 was introduced. This E49 version got the 4 speed. The E49 Engine was a 302 bhp 265 Hemi 6 cylinder 6 pack, (triple side-draught Weber 2BBL carburettors)

Brian Ovenden, a truck driver from Melbourne raced this very car in the 1973 Hardie Ferodo 1000 at Bathurst. Ovenden and co-driver Max Mcginley finished 11th.
