Description

Wild Plum. 302 V8 First Fully Australian Designed Falcon, the XA got an entirely new rounded body, more roomy than the XY, the taillights were unique on the sedan, 6 individual lights. Also the Hardtop was reintroduced to compete with the Monaro and Charger. Inside the seats were improved with new high backs in the front and the new wrap around fascia was likened to an aircraft cockpit. The Hardtop was available in 500, Fairmont, 351 GT and the Limited Edition 302 Superbird.(3273 XA Fairmont Hardtops built) Built from march 72-Sept 73. This car has the Dual Headlight grille and Continental Vinyl Roof Dealer fitted options.
