Description

First Fully Australian Designed Falcon, the XA got an entirely new rounded body Inside the seats were improved with new high backs in the front and the new wrap around fascia was likened to an aircraft cockpit. Built from March 72-Sept 73 Engines; 250 6 or 302 and 351 V8s Panel Van and Utility available in base, 500 or GS The GS came with; Outside; Unique swoopy GS stripes, early XA GT 12 slot rims and caps, Inside; GT full instrumentation, and rim blow steering wheel, but with GS insignia instead of GT insignia 302 or 351 V8 When the next model, the XB was introduced, several extra packages were available on the Commercials; The Sundowner Panel Van, got mattress, icebox and GS options The Overniter Utility, got a glide on camper, and this The Surfsider, got a pop up roof with nylon sleeve.

So this being on an XA may be a prototype or added later.
