| Description |
English: A 1985 Aston Martin V8 Volante Series I in Litchfield Black metallic with Black leather interior, Black Wilton Wool carpets and Black Everflex convertible top. Automatic transmission, originally a US-spec car but recently fitted with European chrome bumpers to full factory specs. It also has a Vantage stainless steel sport exhaust and a European intake system/airbox/linkage. It is one of the last carbureted cars (a Volante Series I, equivalent to a coupé Series 4, better known as "Oscar India") built prior to the introduction of the Weber-Marelli fuel injection in 1985
Sold new as a 1985 model year car (finished in December 1984) to its first registered owner, by Greenwich CT-based Aston dealer Miller Motorcars. It has been often seen at AMOC events and classic car shows and is currently for sale at Autosports Designs where I photographed it. |
