Description

The 300ZX replaced the 280ZX in 1983, they shared the same chassis. The 1st of them, the Z31 ran until 1989, when replaced by the more rounded shape Z32. In Japan, the Z31 was available with either the 2.0 turbo straight 6 RB20DET, 2.0 turbo V6 VG20ET, 3.0 V6 SOHC VG30E, 3.0 turbo V6 SOHC VG30ET or 3.0 turbo DOHC VG30DE.

In Australia, all Z31 300ZX's were 2+2 T-top body. The 1984 and '85 cars were all naturally aspirated (166hp), while the 1986 to 88 were turbocharged (208hp)
