Description

Probably, Kaibab sedge (Carex curatorum syn. Carex scirpoidea var. curatorum), Sedge family (Cyperaceae). Observation Point Trail, Zion Nat. Park, Utah.

Each stem ends with a single spike. The spikes are bisexual, mostly androgynous. Perigynium is hairy, the style is with three stigmas.
