Русский: Сегодня — день воздушно-десантных войск. К этому празднику приурочено открытие памятника бойцам ВДВ в Киселевске. Традиция открытия монументов, посвященных разным видам войск, появилась в Киселевске в прошлом году по инициативе воинов запаса. Новый памятник изготовлен на средства ветеранов-десантников и установлен на аллее Воинской славы. Центральное место на постаменте занимает портрет Героя Советского Союза генерала Василия Маргелова, который командовал воздушно-десантными войсками с 1950-го по 1970-ый годы. Это имя знакомо и дорого каждому десантнику, потому что благодаря усилиям Маргелова, крылатая пехота стала элитой Вооруженных Сил России. Массовые мероприятия, посвящённые празднованию 86-й годовщины воздушно-десантных войск, прошли сегодня по всей области. |
