English: 160921-M-KK554-308 MUSCAT, Oman (Sept 21, 2016) A U.S. Marine from 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) organizes evacuee role-players during a non-combatant evacuation operation rehearsal on Sept. 21, 2016, in Muscat, Oman. 22nd MEU, deployed with the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is maintaining regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. The non-combatant evacuation exercise is an opportunity for the U.S. and Oman to practice a bilateral mission of quickly providing security and safety to U.S. and international citizens abroad during a natural disaster or contingency.
