Description
English: Shows the Washington Territory Investment Company Building, later the Hoge Building (built 1890, demolished ca. 1910) on the southwest corner of 2nd Ave. and Cherry St. Sign for the Washington National Bank is displayed in the window. It also served as the third home of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer newspaper. Next to it is the Downs Block at 709 2nd Ave. The photograph is also marked with an "X" that shows the offices of Warner and Randolph in the Hinckley Block (built 1891) at 713 2nd Ave.
