Description
English: The launch abort system of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Orion capsule descends to the ocean after the Ascent Abort-2 launch on July 2, 2019, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The AA-2 mission was to test the abort system that will keep astronauts safe should an anomaly occur upon re-entering the earth from space. (U.S. Air Force photo by James Rainier)
