Summary[edit]

Description
English: Every morning and every evening residents met on this place in the centre of town to defecate. Subsequently Dalit-women cleaned that place as huge as two football fields with birch-brooms and bowls or baskets.

In the meantime the town administration closed the area in order to build houses.

Auf diesem Platz in der Ortsmitte trafen sich jeden morgen und jeden abend Einwohnerinnen und Einwohner beim "stillen Geschäft". Anschließend beseitigten Dalit-Frauen die Hinterlassenschaften auf dem Platz, etwa so groß wie zwei Fußballfelder, mit Reisigbesen und Schüsseln oder Bastkörben.

Inzwischen hat die Stadverwaltung die Fläche geschlossen. Es sollen hier Häuser gebaut werden.
