Summary
[edit]DescriptionA by-product of grassland improvement - geograph.org.uk - 1657813.jpg |
English: A by-product of grassland improvement. If grassland improvement involves cultivation it is certain in many areas that some large stones will surface, these are carted to the field boundary. In areas with stone dykes these large stones formed the footings for the dyke, in some areas enough stones emerged to build the complete dyke!
