The party of fanaticism, read one of theresolutions, or crime, whichever it may be called, that seeks to turnloose the slaves of the Southern States to overrun the North, and toenter into competition with the white laboring masses, thus degradingtheir manhood by placing them on equality with the negroes, is insult-ing to our race and merits our unqualified condemnation.
