Description
English: KODIAK, Alaska - Petty Officer 3rd Class Devin Lloyd, an aviation maintenance technician with Air Station Kodiak, prepares to lower Petty Officer 3rd Class Chris Moore, a rescue swimmer with Air Station Kodiak, to the beach at the north end of Shelikof Strait to retrieve an acoustic mooring April 28, 2011. The mooring is used to by Alaska Department of Fish and Game bilogists to study the movements of beluga whales in Cook Inlet. U.S. Coast Guard photo by Chief Petty Officer Wayne Langley.
