Summary[edit]

Description
English: Adventurers' Head Drain Stubble fields either side of the drain, one of many man-made watercourses that drain this area and allow the peaty fenland soil to be used for arable crops. They lead to the River Great Ouse to the south where the water has to be pumped up into the river, which is higher than the surrounding farmland.
