Description
日本語: 臺北驛附近。飛行機上より臺北驛を東一北に見たものである。三線道路を以て明確に劃した左方は城內で，縱貫鐵道はその一角北門にある近くで左に廻つて南進する。圖の右方は大稻埕の地續きで，右に伸びた一線は大稻埕驛に通ずるものである。この二つの線に挾まれて立つ大きな建物は總督府の鐵道部であつて，內地の鐵道局に相當するものである。驛前の廣場では大阪商船，近海郵船各出張所の二つの洋館を認めるととが出來る。これ等は臺灣に於ける交通機關に夫々主要な役目を務めるものである。城內三線道路に接する大きな洋館は鐵道ホテル。（《日本地理大系．臺灣篇》編輯部）
