Accompanying note: "Located near the Key West International Airport. This is the motel that the rock group 'The Beatles' stayed in when they were diverted from Jacksonville, FL, where they were scheduled to perform, due to Hurricane Dora. The 'Key Wester' has since been razed and replaced with a new time share complex. The original bungalow the 'Beatles' stayed in was saved and is used as part of the facility. The bungalow in question is the first building to the right of the center building in the foreground." |
