Dear Sir
We send you a/c sales of the 12 bales goods and a/c current which we hope will be found correct & satisfactory. For our sketch a day or [two – crossed out] since we reported a sale of 30 Bales at 7 ½ less 1% The buyer next day after the goods were shipped to New Orleans claimed that he bought them at 7 3/8 and we were obliged to concede this little difference We hold them now at 7 5/8 – could sell at 7 ½ to arrive and did sell a bale [or two?] yesterday at 7 ¾ It now looks well – We will send the [illegible] by the 5th
