R.P. Hunt Esq.
Dear Sir,
We have your favor with Invoice of 6 babs Sheetings 179c184 The money market continues very stringent and has given a check to prices of stocks, real estate many kinds of goods & c – It does not however affect the price of Wool & Cotton much – The latter is perhaps a little lower than our last purchase of 19 babs perhaps a quarter of a cent – We looked through the market today – We are endeavouring to ascertain where the delay is in forwarding, but we will do what we can – In order however to avoid inconveince we must buy a little more in advance – Please let us know if the 13 babs at 10 ¼ was good enough as it was much inferior to the 19 last sent –We give you a sketch on the other page of 50 Babs which closes us all out – Have you any objection to our selling some with another stamp – if a party who is not talking should conclude to buy
