English: Ambion Wood from the Shenton-Dadlington road. Looking due East from the road, the hedgeline at the far side of the field marks the route of the Ashby canal whilst almost hidden in the trees is the bridge over the canal of the former railway. A little way north of this bridge is Shenton station - the southern end of the Battlefield Steam Railway. |
