| Description |
English: An encounter with an otter on the West Highland Way While I was walking along the stretch of the West Highland Way near the Kings House Hotel, an otter appeared on the old road about 20m away. I stood perfectly still as it made its way towards me, expecting that it would soon scamper, but to my surprise and delight it actually came up and sniffed at my walking boots what an encounter! I managed to follow it and get a few photographs before a couple with a dog came along and it was off. Thinking this might be a daily routine for tourists, I returned to the area for the next three days, but it was not to be seen again. |
