English: Anna Liffey Mills & Weir Georgian-era miller's house at Anna Liffey or Shackleton Mills, near Lucan, Co. Dublin. In the townland of Woodlands.
The former owners were from the same family as Ernest Shackleton, the Antarctic explorer. Flour was still being milled by water power here as recently as 1999. |
