In your glad days of lifesspringtime there comes to you a sense of responsibility and duty for the future, and youbegin to bear your parts as good citizens in the common duties of home, school, andcountry. While Arbor Day teaches you the beauty and gladness of earths awakening,as revealed in trees and shrubs and flowers, it also teaches you mans serious dependenceon trees and the civic duty of preserving their benefits in the long years to come.
