In Fig. 143—146 geht der Längsschnitt durch die Sagittalebene oder die Mittelebene des Körpers, welche rechte und linke Hälfte scheidet; in Fig. 147 ist der Keim von der linken Seite gesehen. In Fig. 143 um- schließt das mit Zotten (d1) besetzte Prochorion (d) die Keimblase, deren Wand aus den beiden primären Keimblättern besteht. Zwischen dem äußeren (a) und inneren (z) Keimblatte hat sich im Bezirke des Fruchthofes das mittlere Keimblatt (m) ent- wickelt. In PMg. 144 beginnt der Embryo (e) sich von der Keimblase (ds) abzuschnüren, während sich rings um ihn der Wall der Amnionfalte erhebt (vorn als Kopfscheide, ks, hinten als Schwanzscheide, ss). In Fig. 145 stoßen die Ränder der Amnionfalte (am) oben über dem Rücken des Embryo zusammen und bilden so die Amnion- höhle (ah); indem sich der Embryo (e) stärker von der Keimblase (ds) abschnürt, ent- steht der Darmkanal (dd), aus dessen hinterem Ende die Allantois hervorwächst (al)-
