Thematerial looks so much like marble that it canhardly be detected from the genuine article. Theinnumerable delicate veins and royal colors ofmarble may be simulated in any character desired. George MacGruer, whose company is manufac-turing marble-glass under patents pending, statesthat he has lately perfected an improved methodof Neon sign, the tubes being set in the marble-glass so that a sign may be read distinctly fromthe sidei as well as in front. The maintenancecost is reduced to a minimum as it is possible toclean the sign just as one would clean a window.It is equally effective by day or night.
