n demi-dôme du flanc normal et à la profon-deur de lanticlinal autochtone de Boryslaw. Ce pli profond aune largeur reconnue actuellement de 3 km et une hauteur(Sofia à Sienkiewicz) de 700 m; le flanc normal est donc inclinéde 25°/0 ou 15° en moyenne. Mais ses dimensions réelles sonttrès probablement triples. Vu Vimportance fondamentale desdimensions des plis, il est étonnant de voir publier encore sisouvent des rapports avec profils sans échelle ! Il résulte de cette étude que le bord autochtone des Carpathesgaliciennes devrait offrir encore dautres anticlinaux productifssemblables à celui de Boryslaw. On a rencontré en effet, à plu-sieurs endroits de lavant-pays, de grandes accumulations depétrole, spécialement dans les couches de Dobrotow (Dolina,Dzwiniacz, Starunia etc.). mais le champ de Bitkow est restéjusquà présent le seul qui ait encore été exploité avec un succès Pl.
