Description
English: Ardfert The Irish name for Ardfert is Ard Fhearta and "fert" is an old Irish word often referring to pre-christian burials.

The small tower contained a fountain that used to be the town's water supply and the plaque on the side reads:

1901 The ARDFERT water-supply was provided by Lieut Colonel Talbot-Crosbie and this fountain erected to his memory and for the public good by his brother LINDSEY TALBOT-CROSBIE of
