Empress of India. Deep scarlet-crimson; very fragrant, double and of perfect form; bush a strong grower.
Frau Carl Druschki. This new hardy white rose is unquestionably the best in its class and color. The plant is remarkably handsome with its bright, heavy foliage and strong, upright growth. The flowers are perfect in form and snow-white in color, with large shell-shaped petals
General Jacqueminot. An old popular variety; color brilliant crimson; large and effective.
Marshall P. Wilder. Color, cherry carmine, flowers are large, same globular, full and of good substance; free flowering; a very desirable rose.

Mrs. John Laing. Exceedingly fragrantand a free bloomer; flowers a delicatepink and of beautifulform.
Prince Camille de Rohan. Deep, velvety crimson; large, full; one of the best of dark roses.
Paul Neyron. The largest rose in cultivation; a handsome up-right grower, producing an immense flower at the end of every long stiff stem similar to American Beauty; color, a deep rose; a free bloomer; in every way a grand rose for general planting.
Queen of Edgley. Sometimes called the Pink American Beauty, from its similarity of habit and form of flower. Bright pink.
Roger Lambelin. A decided curiosityamong roses; one of the freak roses that has become popular. The color is a glowing crimson, except the edges of the petals, which are irregular like those of a double petunia. These are distinctly marked with a white margin against the crimson, forming a distinct and unique contrast. The fragrance is delightful; the growth is vigorous, with foliage unusally large and handsome.
Ulrich Brunner. One of the grandest hardy roses; color a brilliant cherry red, a very effective color; flowers of fine form and finish, borne on long stems nearly thornless; petals of great substance; plant hardy and vigorous; a free bloomer.
