Motiv: Porträt eines Manns mit Turban

Gedruckte Titel des Stichs nennen einen Sultan "Süleyman III." (gab es nie) bzw. identifizieren mit "Süleyman II." (wurde erst 1690, 13 Jahre nach Vaillants Tod, Sultan; und war vorher Jahrzehnte in einer Art Luxusgefängnis in Konstantinopel versteckt, also wohl kaum für Porträts zugänglich).
