Summary[edit]

Description
English: Atlas Mills Atlas Mills was a very large complex with 8 mills. This is one part of the complex and I'm not sure if the grid ref is spot on. According to John Phillp of the Northern Mill Engine Society this is Atlas No. 1 Mill and was built in 1862 by the Musgrave Spinning Co. It was converted to electric drive as early as 1908 (early indeed). Morrisons supermarket is now on this spot.
