Notes The central panel of this splendid table hides boards for backgammon, chess and nine men's morris. The mother-of-pearl inlaid into the border is engraved with depictions of the generals who triumphed over the Turks at Vienna in 1683. This table is likely to have been a gift from Emperor Leopold I to Max Emanuel, whose portrait is to the right of the emperor.
