English: Royal Australian Air Force Flight Lt. Kevin O'Sullivan, a chaplain Combined-Joint Civil-Military Operations Task Force, offers religious services to civilians and service members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. armed forces at Sabang Elementary School in Palawan, Philippines, April 26, during Balikatan 2015. The exercise provides an opportunity for Philippine, Australian and U.S. forces to continue strengthening relationships and work together. Balikatan, which means “shoulder-to-shoulder” in Filipino, in an annual bilateral training exercise between U.S. and Philippine forces improving security cooperation activities, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capabilities, and crisis response throughout the region.
