Bahasa Indonesia: Pandemi Covid-19 telah bertransformasi, bukan hanya masalah kesehatan, namun menjadi masalah ekonomi, sosial, politik, serta keamanan yang merupakan masalah global. Banyak negara berlomba-lomba melakukan penelitian guna memproduksi vaksin Covid-19. Parlemen harus ambil peran agar kelak distribusi vaksin Covid-19 bisa merata dan proporsional. Demikian diungkapkan Wakil Ketua Badan Kerja Sama Antar Parlemen (BKSAP) DPR RI Mardani Ali Sera usai mengikuti Webinar dengan tema “The Role of Parliamentarians in Addressing the Challenges of COVID-19 through Implementation of Existing International Biosecurity and Biosafety Frameworks” yang diadakan oleh Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) yang berbasis di New York, Amerika Serikat, baru-baru ini.
English: The Covid-19 pandemic has transformed, not only a health problem, but an economic, social, political and security problem that is a global problem. Many countries are competing to conduct research to produce the Covid-19 vaccine. The parliament must take a role so that later the distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine can be even and proportionate. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the DPR RI Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) Mardani Ali Sera after participating in the Webinar with the theme "The Role of Parliamentarians in Addressing the Challenges of COVID-19 through the Implementation of Existing International Biosecurity and Biosafety Frameworks" held by Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) based in New York, United States, recently.
