It is well said, We weep for the loved andlost, because we know that our tears are invain.^ We would ease your sorrow and yetknow not how. We can only acknowledge thatthe affliction is Gods will. The late Stephen B. Archer, Engineer, Ohio River Division, and His Family Charleston Division Correspondent, C. L. West, Dispatcher The birthplace and boyhood home of generalsuperintendent J. M. Scott is located at Milli-ken, W. Va., six miles north of Charleston,W. Va., in the beautiful Elk Valley, the ruinsof the old home being not more than five hun-dred feet from the railroad track, between thetrack and Elk River. We hope to secure apicture of the house for the Magazine. Through the courtesy of Mr, Brodei^ck ofthe Safety Department, Mr. Bennett, a repre-sentative from his office, produced a movingpicture, The House That Jack Built, atWeston freight station, A num))er of employesfrom the various departments attended andw(;re very mu(;h pleased and imi)rcsscd with theI)icture and its moral.
