pleasure. There were folks from Cumberland, Old-town, Ridgeley, Paw Paw, Baltimore,Piedmont, Patterson Creek, Levels, Spring-field, Romney, Okonoko, IMt. Airy, Wash-ington, Berkeley Springs and Roanoke, \a.,and Pittsburgh. Although rain threatened,none fell, and the A&\ was an ideal one fora picnic. Division Superintendent Brown had arranged for Train No. 2 to stop for thebenefit of those who came from the vicinityof Cumberland. With the games and fun of the morning,everybody was ready for an early dinner.Chicken galore, devilled eggs, olives, saladsof ever)- description, luscious ham, manyvarieties of cake and delicious lemon piesfurnished a meal that could not be for-gotten. Rev. L. G. Bridgers pronounced theblessing and everybody fell to. When dinner was nearly over, GovernorCornwell, now Companys Counsel, arrivedon the scene.
