English: Banner signal, Helen's Bay station For many years the line between Belfast Queens Quay and Bangor was controlled by banner signals this one was at the end of the up platform at Helens Bay station. Note: they were not repeater signals of the type often found on curved platforms where the starting signal is hidden from the drivers view. The A indicates that the signal was automatic. |
