Summary[edit]

Description
English: Barbecue area in Laleham Park, by the River Thames. The park occupies a little of the land between Chertsey and Laleham village, south of Staines-upon-Thames. It is 70 acres donated by the Lucan family, who lived in Laleham House/Abbey, converted into apartments, built 1803-1806. The River Thames is behind the photographer. The road is minor, Thames Side. The black structures in the park are 3 of the barbecue stands built by Spelthorne Borough Council, for free public use to help formalise and make safer all barbecues held in the park, popular for picnics, walks and among cruiser boat owners and hirers.
