English: Bed and bank of the River Tavy, near Tavy Cottage. View looking downriver towards Tavy cottage, on the bluff above the river centre middle distance. Tavy Cottage was, I think, the ore counting house and captain's cottage for the "Virtuous Lady" mine situated on the east bank of the river nearby. Virtuous Lady was also known for its geological specimen rocks. |
