Die gröberen reprä-sentiren Axencylinder von Zellen der weissen reticulären Substanz, welchesich nach hinten wenden (zuweilen die Wurzelfasem des Hypoglossusbegleitend), die Mittellinie kreuzen und in das hintere Längsbündel ein-treten, wo sie sich oft in einen auf- und einen absteigenden Ast spalten.Diese Kreuzung ist zuweilen für eine Decussation der Wurzel des Hypo-glossus gehalten worden. Die andern, etwas weniger groben Fasern,ebenfalls von Koch, Kölliker, Gramer u. A. beobachtet, kommen ausder Raphe, kreuzen die Mittellinie und verzweigen sich im Filz diesesKerns. Wir vermochten nicht genügend diese Fasern zu verfolgen, dienach Köllikers Vermuthung vielleicht der Pyramidenbahn entsprechen. 124 ^V. Kern des Hypoglossus. Der Hypoglossuskern empfängt aussen und vorn eine Menge Col-lateralen sensibler Natur, deren Existenz Kölliker (nachgewiesen hat(Fig. 29, i, g, n). Fi?. 29.
