Description

B. The visible underdrawing of the figures was executed in a 'dry' manner, using charcoal or black chalk.
C. No underdrawing is visible under the blue part of Saint Gregory's chasuble.

D. There is no underdrawing in the part with the donor's figure, meaning it was not originally part of the composition. It probably represents a later owner of the triptych, who commissioned another artist to add his image.
