English: This manuscript is probably from Murbach Abbey; it is an example of the transmission of texts by the medium of the medieval scroll. The Rotulus von Mülinen contains more than 460 recipes, incantations and blessings in Latin, with selective interlinear glosses in Old High German. In addition there is an isolated recipe purely in Old High German Contra paralysin theutonice. The verso side contains an extensive glossary with over 1500 lemmas from the field of medicine, partly provided with Latin and Old High German explanations.
Deutsch: Die Handschrift stammt wahrscheinlich aus den Kloster Murbach und ist ein Beispiel für den medialen Überlieferungstyp der mittelalterlichen Schriftrolle. Der Rotulus von Mülinen enthält mehr als 460 Rezepte, Beschwörungen und Segen in lateinischer Sprache, die punktuell mit althochdeutsche Interlinearglossen enthalten. Dazu kommt ein vereinzeltes rein althochdeutsches Rezept Contra paralysin theutonice. Auf der Versoseite findet sich ein umfangreiches Glossar mit über 1500 Lemmata aus dem Bereich der Medizin, die zum Teil mit lateinischen und althochdeutschen Interpretamenten versehen sind.
Français : Ce rouleau provient probablement du monastère de Murbach et constitue un exemple de ce type de transmission textuelle au Moyen Age. Le rouleau von Mülinen contient plus de 460 recettes, conjurations et bénédictions en latin, renfermant ponctuellement des gloses interlinéaires en ancien allemand. En plus de ces recettes, figure une recette isolée uniquement en ancien allemand Contra paralysin theutonice. Sur le verso prend place un volumineux glossaire avec plus de 1500 lemmes qui se réfèrent au domaine de la médecine, en partie accompagnés de notes explicatives en latin et en ancien allemand.

Sul verso trova posto un voluminoso glossario con più di 1500 lemmi provenienti dal campo della medicina, che sono in parte corredati di spiegazioni in latino e in antico tedesco. |
