| Description |
English: Bethesda At the foot of Barn Street this is said to be one of the finest chapel buildings in Wales, with a seating capacity of 900. The Bethesda Baptist Church, built in 1789 and enlarged in 1816, was then rebuilt in Welsh Romanesque style in 1878 by George Morgan of Carmarthen at a cost of £2,199. There are also schoolrooms to the side and well-preserved cast-iron railings. |
